Geoinformatics

Geoinformatics relates to the science and technologies that support the acquisition, storage, processing, use, and analysis of spatial information.

We combine geospatial analysis and modeling to address problems commonly faced by planners, engineers, and government officials in economic development, emergency management, land-use planning, and more. Using GIS, we can map and analyze spatial patterns not available through tabular data.

Our areas of emphasis include emergency management, hazard risk analysis, mitigation planning, and integration of spatial information across administrative and governmental sectors. We have developed state-of-the-art processes to allow local officials and groups to enhance and interpret their own data, thus ensuring their ownership of required plans.
